We're looking for T Shirt Design submissions, and as always, we're trying to keep this process democratic. Ha Ha...
So, bring out your drawing pens and shriek out your inspiring one-liners, we need them on T-Shirts.
Right now, I'm thinking of just having a graphic in front (the graphic can have text in it) and some text at the back, with logos on both sides.
Here are some guidelines...
- Theme should be related of Parkour (of course!)
- Try to keep it down to one / two colours, because multiple colours can get expensive when printed on Tees.
- This means that you can't use effects like shadows and gradients in the design.
- Remember that the colour of the shirt is also to be considered... You can use the shirt colour to your advantage in the artwork.
- Keep the artwork/design to an area of about 25cm X 30cm.
- Create Hi-Res art (approx. 3,000px X 9,000px), but post smaller images (maximum width 450px) to the forums.
- Vector artwork is preferred, but pixel based images are also good as long as you give me hi-resolution files...
- You can even sketch it and scan your artwork in, but it needs to be extremely (and I mean EXTREMELY) neat if you do so.
- After the first two images posted by a user, subsequent submissions will be removed by the moderators.
- Finalised design sees the designer gettinga a free Tee Shirt
To get you started, I've created a kit with T-Shirt outlines, derived from the threadless.com kit, download the files and use them. Make sure you designs are high resolution, or else I won't be able to submit it to the printers. If you have questions. Call me.
You'll notice that I've not added logo files to the attachments. That's cos I'm not too happy with the logos we have as of now. We'll have a logo design contest too, but after the Tee Shirt contest is done.
Post your designs in this thread.... Make them good, cos you only get two posts..
So get to it now... We're looking forward to seeing some immensely creative work.
